The firm is consistently ranked highly for its excellent client service in both Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories.
An opportunity now exists to join this firm with the appointment of an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive who has proven experience in advising clients on lifetime issues including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax, Family Asset succession and protection.
The individual to be appointed will have three or more years’ post admission relevant experience and will be expected to undertake work in the following: -
Dealing with business structure including partnerships, LLPs, and companies
Court of Protection
Trusts and Trust administration including related compliance issues
Wider tax knowledge
Estate administration
In addition, it is expected that the appointed candidate will be able to: -
manage own caseload
manage own financial housekeeping
conduct meetings with clients both face to face and remotely
assess legal issues and advise accordingly
conduct legal research
advise on costs and scope of work
draft documents and letters of advice
maintain a good knowledge of law and practice
excellent communication and team skills
Ideally the appointed candidate will also be STEP and CTA qualified or part-qualified.
